Katie+Taylor: You Make Me A Better Person…

Main Highlight film of Katie and Taylor’s wedding in Cedar Creek, Texas on Saturday November 03, 2012.

Katie and Taylor have been able to create a day that was uniquely theirs. From the rustic-looking amphitheater ceremony place to the under-the-star outdoor dancing floors, everything looked creatively unique. However, to me, the most unique aspect of the wedding was the personality of the couple. I totally admired their kindness, patience and generosity. I was also amazed by the loving attention Taylor gave his wife from the moment he saw her during the ceremony to the last minute of the reception. It’s always cute to see the bride and groom enjoying the reception together. The first dance shouldn’t be the only time the couple dance together. It looked to me like Katie and Taylor had a dozen of ‘first dances’ during the reception. This is what I think a wedding reception should be about: the bride and groom telling the whole world that they meant what they said during the ceremony and they are going to make sure those words remain true for every minute of their whole life. And, that’s what Katie and Taylor did!

Thank you to you Katie and Taylor for the privilege of filming your wedding and discovering this beautiful natural park in Cedar Creek, Texas. I wish you all kinds of blessings!

Ashlee & David: Drunk on Your Love…

Main Highlight film of Ashlee and David’s wedding in Kyle, Texas on October 19, 2012.
The beauty of Ashlee’s wedding kind of caught me by surprise. I knew the couple would be having a beautiful wedding but I had no idea that the day will be filled with SO many gorgeous moments. My favorite moment in the film occurs few minutes before the ceremony, when the bride looks at the crowd through her window, nervous about what’s coming next and one of the bridesmaids telling her: “it’s going to be OK. This is your day. Just keep your eyes on David!” And that’s what Ashlee did as she walked down the aisle: she kept her eyes on David!
No doubt, the bride-walking-down-the aisle moments are the most magical!
Whenever my assistant and I film a wedding together, I ask him to fix his camera on the groom while I focus my lens on the bride. I believe, when brides walk down the aisle, their eyes shine and express all the love and passion they have for their lovers. I’m sure, as you watch this film, you’ll be able to see the same thing happening in Ashlee’s eyes!
Thank you Ashlee and David for allowing us to be a part of such an important day of your lives. We were truly honored and humbled! Wish you all the best!

Ashlee & David: Eat, Drink and Be Married!

Film of Ashlee and David’s wedding reception in Kyle, Texas on October 19, 2012.
What a wonderful night we had filming Ashlee and David’s reception! An amazing couple (they came to have fun celebrating their union), a great DJ ( they didn’t hesitate to get in the crowd and dance along) and a gorgeous venue (the place offered so much room for people to dance or hang around).
There are several moments in this film you’ll love watching: the sweet first dance, the emotion-packed daughter-father dance, the funny toasts or the couple’s last dance (in an empty room, all alone at the center of the dancing floor…that was cool!). And I almost forgot the couple’s send-off moment (with the groom kissing his mum good-bye…so sweet!). No more comments…let’s just watch the film!
